Actually, the reason for “sudo: cd: command not found” is that cd is not a program; rather, it’s built into the shell.

Sudo, on the other hand, is an actual program. When you call “sudo rm myfile.txt”, for example, you’re telling the sudo program to call the rm program. When you execute “sudo cd /root”, you’re telling the sudo program to call the cd program, which it can’t, since cd is not a program.

clonevdi is deprecated. You should use clonehd instead.

“update” doesn’t work. You should use “upgrade” like this:
sudo apt-get install phpunit
sudo pear channel-discover pear.phpunit.de
sudo pear channel-discover components.ez.no
sudo pear channel-discover pear.symfony-project.com
sudo pear upgrade
sudo pear upgrade phpunit/PHPUnit
